We recently had a major flood in our home in Center Valley. I called Lehigh Rug Service the next day and Todd and his crew came out that day to pick up all our area rugs for cleaning. We contacted Lehigh Rug Service after we pulled back the carpet in our home office to install cabinets and needed the carpet refitted to the remaining space. They contacted us just a few business hours after we requested a quote, and were able to send someone to our home the next business day. We had a bleach accident on our luxury carpet that we had just installed less than a year go. We we're faced with a few options one worse than the next. With no existing carpet from the original lot, to replace the area would have left seems and pattern discrepancies.We were at first, apprehensive versus the prospect of having it died, as we haven't ever tried it as a remedy.We ought not ever have been worried! Lehigh Rug service, it's incredible staff and the work that they do are simply astonishing. Couldn't be more satisfied with the results than if we'd had the entire 2nd floor carpet replaced again. As you can see from the before and after, the dye job was essentially perfect. The after photo included shows the carpet post dye only minutes after they'd finished. Once dried, the difference is only noticeable by us, because we know there was an accident there. To anyone else, they'd never notice any difference. Center Valley, Pa Fun Facts
Center valley is an interesting town as it was founded in 1732 and first called a town all the way back in 1743. Originally focused near the intersection of what is now 309 and 378 it was as most towns of that era mostly a farming town. By 1873, as many as seven homes had been established near the railroad station, and in 1875 local commissioners authorized $1,200.00 for construction of the Centennial Bridge. This bridge provided an important link between the original village nucleus and the settlement forming around the railroad station to the east. By the time the bridge was completed in 1876, the area around the station had extended toward the original village nucleus by adding 18 homes, two coal yards, one store and a hotel. Besides agriculture Center Valley was a key mining town for Zinc.Now we have only been servicing the town since our inception in 1958 but we are always happy to service this wonderful town
