1. Pre-Treatment
We apply a professional detergent to break down traffic areas, soil, and everyday buildup.

2. Agitation
We work that solution into the fibers so it can loosen what regular vacuuming leaves behind.

3. Deep Steam Cleaning
We use hot water extraction to flush out both the dirt and the detergent. That rinse step matters. If residue is left behind, carpets can get dirty again faster. We make sure it’s properly removed.

Most carpets dry the same day with normal airflow, and we’ll explain exactly what to expect before we begin.

How often you should clean depends on your home — pets, kids, foot traffic, lighter colors. It’s different for everyone. If you’re not sure, just call and we’ll talk it through.

We charge by the square foot of cleanable area, which is more honest than “room pricing.” Large national chains — and even many smaller companies — use room pricing to get in the door and then upsell. We discuss everything upfront so there are no hidden surprises.

We clean traditional 6–7 foot sofas, sectionals, loveseats, recliners, chairs, and ottomans. Most fabric furniture can be professionally cleaned, and we always confirm the material before we begin so there are no surprises.

Our process removes embedded soil and buildup while staying safe for your home. Many stains improve significantly, and we’ll give you an honest opinion upfront about what we expect before we start.

Most pieces dry the same day, depending on airflow and fabric type.

Pricing depends on the size and style of the furniture, and we’re happy to go over that with you on the phone so you know exactly what to expect.

Please note: We do not clean leather furniture at this time.

Lehigh Rug Service has been cleaning Area and fine Oriental rugs in Center Valley for over 60 years.

Area rugs and fine Oriental rugs deserve a different level of care than wall-to-wall carpet. Many of them are handmade, contain natural fibers, and hold soil deep below the surface where regular vacuuming can’t reach.

At Lehigh Rug Service, we clean rugs the right way — in our temperature-controlled facility using a full, multi-step cleaning process designed to safely remove embedded dirt, dust, and allergens while protecting the fibers and colors. The goal isn’t just to brighten the surface. It’s to clean the foundation of the rug so it stays cleaner longer.

That said, not every rug needs that level of care. Some rugs are partially under heavy furniture, and others are machine-made from nylon or polyester and don’t require the same process — or pricing — as fine wool or handwoven rugs.

For those situations, we also clean many synthetic area rugs right in your home at a reduced price. We’ll talk through what type of rug you have and recommend the approach that makes the most sense for your rugs and budget.

For an extra fee we also offer to spray a stain protector on your rugs. We use the only green protector we could find on the market and it has no odor either

And if you need new fringe or binding done we offer those services in Center Valley as well.

Pickup and delivery service is available for a fixed fee. Unlike some companies that charge by the square foot for pickup, we keep it simple and straightforward.

We don’t treat pickup as a profit center. It’s there to make the cleaning process easier for customers who aren’t able to transport rugs themselves.

Want to know what the real color of your grout is? Often times we hear customers say they didn’t even know their grout wasn’t black. Give us a call and we will be happy to give you a price to clean your Tile and Grout

Tile and grout collect dirt and bacteria that regular mopping can’t remove. Professional cleaning lifts embedded soil from grout lines and restores the original color. Most floors dry the same day.

We do not seal tile as often it creates more issues than it solves!

Whether we’re cleaning your wall-to-wall carpets in Center Valley or bringing your area rugs back to our shop, we offer several options to help reduce general pet odor.

And if — like the dog in the picture — accidents have happened, we have solutions for that too. For in-home carpet cleaning, we use an advanced enzyme deodorizer that targets odor at the source. For area rugs, we can properly treat and flush them in our facility.

If odor has worked its way into the pad, we also offer new padding for area rugs, since sometimes replacing the pad is the most effective solution.

Lehigh Rug Service also now does Wood Floor refinishing/restoration without sanding in Center Valley! No muss no fuss. We use an emulsifier to get the dirt out of the floor and then do a cleaning phase. Once the dirt is removed we apply two coats of water based polyurethane so your floors look great. Our process does much of what sanding does without all the hassle and dust of sanding!

We also sell and install all types of flooring including carpet, wood and laminate floorings with professional installation. Give us a call and we will come out and survey the job and show you samples with our mobile showroom anywhere in Center Valley!

Carpet Stretching and Repair in Center Valley!  We will work out the bubbles and wrinkles for you. If you have a hole you need patching and have extra carpet we can replace the damaged area. We are locally owned and operated and send only the best workmen to complete your task!

Center Valley, Pa Fun Facts

Center valley is an interesting town as it was founded in 1732 and first called a town all the way back in 1743. Originally focused near the intersection of what is now 309 and 378 it was as most towns of that era mostly a farming town. By 1873, as many as seven homes had been established near the railroad station, and in 1875 local commissioners authorized $1,200.00 for construction of the Centennial Bridge. This bridge provided an important link between the original village nucleus and the settlement forming around the railroad station to the east. By the time the bridge was completed in 1876, the area around the station had extended toward the original village nucleus by adding 18 homes, two coal yards, one store and a hotel.  Besides agriculture Center Valley was a key mining town for Zinc.Now we have only been servicing the town since our inception in 1958 but we are always happy to service this wonderful town
